Community

GameDash is built with its community rather than at it. Module authors, hosting companies and community operators all feed into what gets built next, and the fastest way to influence that is to turn up and say something.

Where to find us

  • Discord — the busiest room. Support questions, module development, and early looks at what is coming.
  • Forum — longer-form discussion, guides, and anything worth finding again in six months.

Getting a useful answer

When something is not working, the details that usually settle it quickly are:

  • Whether the problem is on the panel or on a node
  • The operating system and version of the node
  • What the daemon logged around the failure
  • Which module and which game, if it is instance-specific

Host caveats collects the environment-specific problems that come up most often — worth a look before posting.

Contributing a module

Modules are the main way people extend GameDash, and a module that supports a game we do not yet cover is genuinely useful to everyone. Creating your first module walks through building one.
